Direction of Lines

Lines is an element of art that is always present, even when other elements of art takes the leading role. Before we started the project, students shout out the types of lines they know. Each type is wriiten on the board. The task is simple: Use and Identify five types of lines in the composition.

Home-based: Translucency - leaves


And exercise using basic shapes and layers of watercolours. the number of leaves ranges from 30-60, quality makes a different. 

Step 1: paint oval (or any other shapes) for leaves

Step 2: let dry (if you prefer a clean edge) otherwise, skip this step. 

Step 3: paint in veins in an opposite colour

Step 4: fill background using wet-on-wet
technique.
